When does a Scriptural Day begin? This issue has been discussed among different groups for quite some time now, and because tradition is so deeply rooted in the way in which people worship, they will often cast the truth of the scriptures to the ground, and carry on as if it doesn't really matter what the scriptural view is on the subject. Do we base our beliefs on what the Scriptures have to say, or do we base them on the traditions of men?
Many folks love to stay in their comfort zone where they have friends of like mindedness. When truth is presented they become very upset, assume the defence posture, place their hands on their hips and say, "Don't tell me that I am wrong; I've done it this way all my life, and who are you to tell me that it should be otherwise". This is the way I have learnt it since I've been a little child." You mean to tell me that my parents and grand parents didn't begin a day at the proper time"? Rather than study the scriptures for ourselves, we have accepted another person's view, and have not gone to the true source of knowledge, (the scriptures) and allowed them to speak to us through the power of Elohim's Ruach Ha Qodesh (The Set-apart Spirit). Well let us see! Let's prove from the scriptures what they have to say on this little understood subject.
First of all, let's lay a little ground work here. We were all born into a ready made world, with its customs and traditions. Ask anyone why they do what they do, and why they believe what they believe and they will tell you: "thisis the way my parents taught me all of my life, therefore it must be right". After all, my parents wouldn't lie to me. Don't be too sure! Then they will probably say: "Well it was good enough for my grandfather and grandmother, father andmother; so it's good enough for me". It's like the old hymn (song), "Give methat old time religion; it's good enough for me". People seldom ever stop to think and ask themselves if what they believe actually lines up with scripture. People just want to fit in and follow the crowd, whether they are following the truth or not. I know of people who will accept anything a minister will tell them, because they believe that he is next to the Almighty, and to speak outagainst one who is anointed would be a great sin. After all it is more important to treat the church as a social club than a place to find truth. That's where their circle of friends is found, and it would be so tragic to lose friends. Truth is of little importance to those folks, because truth causes separation and division. If one thinks any different than the crowd, they are automatically marked and labeled as a trouble maker. Rather than give a person the benefit of the doubt and say: "well maybe you know, he or she maybe right with the point they are trying to make". People seldom read with an open mind and will quickly try and shut a person up, shun and call them names. How sad!
Warning!! Do not believe a word that I have written here. I am not the source of true knowledge, and would never profess to be. The author is not a highly educated person, and in fact, just barely finished High School. This article is written in laymen's terms, is easy to read and understand, as are the scriptures. The reason most people have difficulty understanding the scriptures is because they do not accept what they read for what it says, but will accept scholars, rabbis, or ministers views and then try and apply it to the text. Big mistake! Did not Yahusha say his Spirit will teach you all things? John 15:13. Deut. 29:29. "The SECRET things belong unto YAHUWEH our Elohim: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all of the words of this law". Folks, when you read this article; "When does a scriptural Day begin", please read it with an open mind, and without any preconceived idea that you already know when a Day begins. Allow the word of the Almighty, to show you what a DAY is, what it consists of, and when it begins. This is my prayer, for all who will take the time to read this article without prejudice. Read these scriptures about day and night as if it were the first time you had ever seen them. Some will probably say: "I don't need to look up these scriptures again, I've read them a thousand times, and they say exactly the same as I already believe". Well maybe, just maybe, you may be wrong! The author thought he had a pretty good handle on it as well, but because the Passover time sequence didn't add up, the only thing to consider was to go back to the beginning of the book.
[[Again, please read and study the scriptures that are referred to in this article and do not take my word for it]]
Most people will not believe, and will still seek someone else's authority on the scriptures. Of course a lot of these writings are sold for gain (money). It's called merchandizing the scriptures as the scriptures state. If these people were concerned, and actually believed that they had the truth, they would not sell it, but freely give that others would know also. II Corinth.2:17..For we are not as many, which corrupt (deal deceitfully with; they peddle andsell it and also teach the opposite of what it says) the word of Elohim:but as of sincerity, but as of Elohim, in the sight of Elohim we speak in theAnointed One. Prov. 23:23. "Buy (attain) the truth and sell it not; wisdom, and instruction, and understanding". The challenge to you is to search the scriptures and see if what is written here lines up with Torah. You are welcomed to refute anything that is written here, BUT with scripture only please, and not with traditions or teachings of men. If what is written here does not line with the scriptures, then simply toss it into the trash can, or send it to the recycle bin.
Shall we look to scriptures to find the answer, or do we look to man? If we believe that theword of the Almighty has the final say, then that would be the place to look to find the answer. Well then, let's see what it really has to say on the subject of "DAY", and what it consist of? Bereshith or Genesis would probably be the best place to begin, since "Bereshith" does mean"Beginnings".
Genesis 1:1, 2 says.In the beginning Elohim created (bara; Hebrew word Strongs #1254) the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form and "Darkness" was upon the face of the deep...The earth completely covered with water? That's what the scriptures indicate, and also very "DARK". Please note that the earth was already here! Darkness was probably upon the face of the deep for a very long time. We are not informed, as to how long this period of darkness existed, before the Elohim decided to begin working on his creation to make it fit for man. So, we see that the earth was already here, as well as the heavens, before Elohim (The Mighty One) began his seven days of work. Continuing with Gen 1: 2. and the Spirit (Breath) of the Almighty moved upon the face of the waters... Yes folks; the earth (in darkness) was already established as a part of the creation of the heavens and the earth, and was not a part of the seven day creation. The seven days of creation were to prepare the earth for man to live upon, and to also have a relationship with his Creator. The relationship is what most people miss, because they fail to allow the Almighty to reveal to them the facts of his creation, and try to have a relationship on their terms.
The first thing the Almighty creates in his seven days of creation week is "LIGHT" (Or in the Hebrew language). Gen 1: 3 And Elohim said, Let there be Light: and there was Light. Hold on a minute here! This is a verse in the scriptures where people just don't seem to get it. What's the first thing the Creator called for in the seven days of creation? Light! Ah, but the light didn't obey him, so he had to settle for night; darkness to begin his first day of Creation? Is that what the scriptures teach? No, absolutely not! The light shone forth for that first day of creation as commanded. Verse 4.And Elohim "SAW" the light that it was good: (Saw, means that he is looking back over his creation of light and that it was good) It doesn'tsay "the light is going to be good". Continuing.and the Elohim divided the "Light" from the "Darkness". The next verse is the one that most folks will read over and do not stop to examine what it is really being said. They then allow "tradition" to take the place of reality. Let's see what Genesis chapter 1:5 really says! And the Elohim called the "LIGHT" DAY, (Day H3117 Strong's concordance Yom in the Hebrew: it means to be Hot, plus late evening. A description ofa day) and the DARKNESS (Kho-shek # H2822) he called NIGHT (Layil # 3915 in the Hebrew language).
So then, LIGHT = DAY and DARKNESS = NIGHT. Some folks will agree that light is day but are unsure if it involves the night also. Well then, let's go back and read verse 4 again. Nowwhat does it say? It says that Elohim divided the light from the darkness. Ha-ha! That is the same as the land and the water. It is either one or the other; they cannot be both. Again, the last part of verse 5 is the part that most people totally miss and pay no attention to it whatsoever! The evening cannot belong to the night and the morning, since most people believe that the evening part of the day was the 14Th day of Passover. We cannot have it both ways. It has to be one or the other! Therefore evening/night/morning cannot constitute a day. "And the EVENING (Ereb # H6153 in the Hebrew language Dusk + day) and the MORNING (Boqer # H1242 in the Hebrew language) were the first "DAY". Let's just stop there and pause for a moment. The EVENING andthe MORNING were the first what? The EVENING and the MORNING, were the "FIRST DAY". Wow! What a "revelation"! The Almighty has shown us that LIGHT was the first DAY. Now most people will try and read night into this part of the verse, but the scripture doesn't say anything about night. Folks, read it again and see what it really says. It states, the Evening and the morning, were the first DAY.So then, EVENING is LIGHT, and MORNING is LIGHT. Yes, that's right! "Evening and Morning is LIGHT", believe it! There is nothing in this statement to indicate that the NIGHT (DARKNESS) is part of the DAY (LIGHT). It simply isn't there!
This, verse 5 was a marvelous revelation to me when the Father of all Creation revealed to my tiny mind exactly what he was saying. A DAY consists of Light, and further, without Light, a DAY could have never begun in the first place. It is that simple folks; a day cannot begin without light. A day is light; so then, what did the Almighty set apart on the 7th Day? He set apart the 7th Daylight and not the night.Without modern industry we would all be resting at night as he had intended in the first place. If we in this modern world were to suddenly lose all industry we would be back where the ancients were, without electrical power and lighting. What then would we do after a hard days work? Don't you think we would eat, spend an hour or so with the family and look for a place to lie down andsleep? Night was intended to be the time when man would rest from his labors and begin work in the morning. The invention of the light bulb put an end to man's normal rest period. Does the scripture in Revelation 14:11. "They have no rest day or night who worship the Beast and his image" … strike a note? Notice the (Day and Night) time sequence!
Now, some articles have been written on "When does a day begin" long before this one, but some of the folks who have written them, try and say the evening of the previous day,the night and the morning of the next day constitute a day. Well, this is impossible, because the light (Evening) of the previous day, is added to the night and the morning of the next day. Really folks, if this were true; the Passover was slain on the 15th of Aviv, if the evening is included. Now, that's parts of two days, and does not fit the scope of what a day consists of. Having read one person's article on Evening and Morning, he states that everywhere the word "evening" is written in the scriptures, it means night, but doesn't offer any scripture to back up his claim. If the evening (afternoon), night, and the morning light of the day following constitute a complete day, then the morning (before noon) until noon of the next day has to be included. This is like saying a day begins at noon. Is this not confusion? If one believes that a day begins in the evening, then the afternoon of the day must be included.
It is impossible to say from scripture, that Evening means Night. In fact it is the opposite. Evening always implies day (LIGHT). Actually our very language indicates that evening is connected to the morning, and is the daylight portion. Phrases like: "Come over and visit us later this evening".In the day time we say, "Later this evening, we will do such and such". Here's one. If a job has begun, and there isn't enough time to finish it in the evening we say: "We'll finish it tomorrow; tomorrow is a new day". "I will come and visit you tomorrow", indicating it is a new day.
When a consecration offering was made, it had to be eaten the same day as Exodus 29:34 states: ."And if any of the flesh of the consecrations, or of the bread is to remain unto morning, then thou shall burn the remainder with fire: it shall not be eaten, because it is set-apart". This is constant throughout the scriptureswith certain offerings as is the same for the Passover Lamb. None of it was to remain until the next morning. (Not to see the light of a new day) Verse 38...The one lamb thou shalt offerin the morning; and the other lamb shalt thou offer at even. If oblation offerings and freewill offerings were made, Lev 22:30..On the same day it shall be eaten up; ye shall leave none of it until the morrow: I am YAHUWEH. Again folks, it was not to see the light of a new day. The book of Job has some interesting scriptures, and if carefully read, a lot can be gleaned from them. Job was going through the greatest trial of his life and was being comforted by his three friends. Job 2:13...So they sat down with him upon the ground seven days and seven nights, and none spoke a word unto him: for they saw that his grief was very great. 3:1-9, especially verse 9..Let the stars of twilight thereof be dark; let it look for light, but have none; neither let it see the dawning of the day. There is no doubt whatsoever folks, that from scripture, a day begins in the morning. Yeremeyah 33:19...Thus saith Yahuweh; if ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, that there should not be day and night in their season.. Again these verses show us the order of things as they were ordained from the beginning of creation week.
A day consists of light, broken into two parts: morning and evening or evening and morning. Now let's divide up the evening portion. YeremYah (Jeremiah) 6:4, 5..It is important to read this one because it will take away any confusion as to what evening really is! "Prepare ye war against her;arise, and let us go up at noon. Woe unto us! For the day goes away, for the shadows of the evening (lengthening) are stretched out". (What is meant by the shadows of the evening? Folks, it looks like the evening has shadows. Looks like the sun is still up here, and it is definitely evening. We see long shadows as the day draws towards a close) Arise, and let us go by night, and let us destroy her palaces". The evening begins after the sun reaches its highest point in the sky,and starts its decline. It will then decline until the sun sets and the stars come out. This is a clear description of evening. The stars witness that the night has arrived. Now if we split the evening in two parts, we arrive at a point at which the ancients called "Between the Two Evenings". Now what significant event happened between the two evenings? Was it not when the Passover Lamb was slaughtered? Exodus 12:6 .And you shall keep it up until the 14th DAY of the same Moon: and the whole assembly ofthe congregation shall kill it "between the evenings". Yes, and folks this is when the True Passover Lamb of the Almighty died, precisely. He died around 3:00 PM (The ninth hour) on a Roman time clock, outside the city wall of Jerusalem (YAHrushalem).
Here are some verses that show evening is a part of the same day. Let's go to I Samuel 17:16..And the Philistine drew near Morning and Evening, and presented himself` for Forty days. (No nights mentioned here) Did you catch that folks? For forty days; morning and evening, Israel is challenged. So here we have a situation where a monster of a man, (Goliath) is looking for a fight; presents himself to the army of Israel on a mountain side, while Israel on the other mountain side could not find a man in their army to accept his challenge. They fled when they saw this man, because they were sore afraid. Now, the question is: Is morning and Evening of the same day? You will have to agree folks that it is indeed. Nothing at all is mentioned here of night! Is there? No folks, again we cannot add to the scriptures. So, if a day consists of morning and evening, then doesn't it also consist of evening and morning? Absolutely! Knowing the tactics of Satan; he probably had Goliath present himself at the "Morning and Evening"sacrificial times, as the Levitical Priesthood were presenting the morning and evening sacrifices. There isn't any contradiction here, because anyway you slice it, a day is light; evening and morning or morning and evening. It was in the Light of Day that Goliath presented himself to the army of Israel. Daniel8:26..And the vision of the Evening and the Morning which was told is true..Matt 16:1-3. The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would show them a sign from heaven..verse 2.He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, it will be fair weather: for the sky is red..verse 3.And in the morning, it will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and lowering. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times? Now, is the evening a part of the day or is it a part of the night? It is obvious that evening is part of the day and not the night; for in the night when darkness has set in, one will not see a red sky. A red sky at night can only be seen if there is a flash of lightening.
Let's take a look at the Morning: If we divide the morning; we have early morning (before sunrise, the light from the sun breaks the eastern sky), mid morning, and late morning until noon. When was the Passover lamb nailed to the stake? It was mid morning, around9:00 AM (The third hour) on a Roman time clock. There, you have a day. as described according to the scriptures. Itis not a part of the night. The Passover was killed between the Two Evenings, was roasted that night, and eaten that night. What night? The night of the 14thday, Exodus 12:8. None of it was to remain until the morning; (to see the light of a new day) verse 10. a new day, the 15th day. It was to be burnt by fire at night, on the 14th night, before the morning arrived.
The Passover timeline has always been a mystery to me, because it would not fit together. The author had tried every which way to make it fit, beginning a day at night after sunset, for 24 years. After many, many debates with folks, we were unable to make head or tail of it. Some would say that YAHUSHA partook of his last supper with his disciples on the night of the 14th while others would say the night of the 13th. Well folks, it is not a mystery any longer because YAHUSHA had his last supper on the night of the 13th. He died on the 14th (DAY/LIGHT)of the Passover day and was buried that day before sunset. Remember, a body could not remain on the tree all night; it had to be taken down and buried the same day. (Very important to read these two scriptures) Deuteronomy 21: 22, 23 .and if a man has committed a sin unto death, and he is put to death, and thou hang him on a tree: verse 23. His body shall not remain all night upon the tree; but thou shalt in anywise bury him that day (DAY); for he that is hanged is accursed of Elohim; that thy land be not defiled, which YAHUWEH thy Mighty One gives thee for an inheritance. No doubt, the Father kept his own law by having his son buried before nightfall. It is stated in his law, and therefore he was not about to break it to satisfy man's time line.
Now, when did YAHUSHA rise from the dead? There is no doubt whatsoever; he arose very early on the first day of the week, the 16th day of Aviv, when light from the sun had begun to break the night. It was still not yet fully light, but the light of the sun had begun to be seen in the eastern sky. Luke 24:1, .very early in the morning.Mark 16:1, 2.Matt 28:1.After the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week.John 20:1 So, when did YAHUSHA rise from the dead? Very early in themorning. on the first day of the week; as the scriptures indicate. The scriptures are not in contradiction when one reads exactly what has been written about the beginning of a day.
So, when theAlmighty had finished that first DAYof creation, he looked backover it. From which end of that light period did he look back over? Did he look from the morning to the evening or did he look back from the evening to the morning. Remember folks, light is progression, and that period of light had reached an end. Obviously he didn't look .back. over the first Day from morning to evening, but from evening to morning. There was a progression of light for that whole DAY (LIGHT) period. So then, he looked back over that first Dayfrom the Evening back to the Morning, as were all of his days of creation.
Yes folks; A DAY consists of Light, (evening and morning or morning and evening). A Day is Light, and Darkness is Night as the scriptures indicate. Day is a totally different season from night, and has nothing to do with it, as summer has nothing to do with winter. The two different seasons are extremes, and are readily felt by us flesh and blood mortals. We must clothe ourselves for both; for one offers heat and the other offers cold. The same applies to Day and Night. During the daytime, (Light) the ability to see our surroundings is not a problem, because the light enables us to see objects that we would stumble over at night. However, if we walk at night we need an artificial light or walk by the light of the moon. John 11:9 YAHUSHA answered, Are there not twelve hours in a day? If any man walks in the day, he stumbles not, because he sees the light of this world. (The sun obviously)
Now that we have established what a Day is according to scripture, what then follows Day? It is obvious that night follows day as the scriptures indicate. This is the pattern, that the Almighty has set down in his Scriptures (Torah = Instruction) He follows this same pattern on through the 7th day. (DAY and NIGHT) He set apart the 7th Day of his creation, rested on it, and commanded us that we are to do likewise. Six days shall work be done, but the Sabbath is a rest unto the Eternal (Exodus16:23, 26, 27, 30) Please read these scriptures, because they show us that the 7th DAY is the Sabbath.
There is nothing here that shows the 7th night as being the Sabbath. Read it again folks and see if night can be added to it. No! Do we see anywhere in the Renewed Oath(New Testament as it is called) where Yahusha entered into the temple on Sabbath night and stood up to read? (They did have have lamps) Absolutely not! It was always in the daylight hours. No way can we make the scriptures say something that it doesn't. Man's tradition of starting a day at12 midnight and sunset are indeed traditions, and are unscriptural. The midnight to midnight tradition is of the Romans, and the sunset to sunset is of the Jews. Please read the scriptures and find one scripture that indicates a day begins at sunset. The world follows both systems, and is in conflict with the word of the Eternal. The Eternal sets the times, (Genesis 1:14) with his Two Great Lights.
How many people believe that the Almighty assigned the Two Great Lights to set the times of his Sabbaths and Feast days? He assignedthe Sun to tell us when it is day and the Moon to rule the nights."He appointed the moon for seasons:"(moed, Hebrew word Strongs #3259, a fixed time orseason/for appointment/festival) Psalm 104:19. The moon also serves as another function; it tells us which day it is on the Almighty's count to his weekly Sabbath. Genesis 1:14.Let them (plural) be for signs (beacons) and for moades/Hebrew word Strongs #4150 from the word #3259 (appointments, fixed times, seasons especially a festival) and for days= yome, [Hebrew word 3117, to be hot, literally from sunrise to sunset], and years, revolutions of time)
Now some of you will say that he didn't make the sun and the moon until the fourth Day. Is that what's being indicated in Genesis 1:1? In the beginning Elohim created("bara" Hebrew word Strong's #1254) the HEAVEN and the earth. Are the Sun, Moon, and Stars a part of the creation of the heavens and the earth? Where then, are the heavens and stars that he created, if they weren't created until the fourth day? Genesis 1:1 would have to be in error then. Genesis 1:1 says they were. In verse 16, it says that he made (asah Hebrew word Strong's 6213) appointed or assigned the sun and the moon (in conjunction of course) to mark off time on the fourth day. From the Hebrew word (H6213 Aw-saw) a primitive root; to do or make in the broadest and widest application. It goes on to say that the words accomplish, advance, or (appoint). So, the Almighty appointed the two great lights on the fourth day to mark off time. The Sun tells us when a day begins, and the Moon tells us which day it is on the Almighty's time schedule (His Calendar in the sky; the one that man cannot mess with). His Calendar abides forever, as the heavens and the earth.
Some of you learned folks who have studied the scriptures for so many years will probably say:"You are wrong as to when a day begins, because in Leviticus 23: 32 it states that the Sabbath of rest (Day of Atonement) starts from evening to evening". Now, that is indeed true, but let's read verse 27 again. Also on the 10thDAY of the 7th Moon there shall be a Day of Atonement: it shall be a set-apart convocation unto you: and you shall afflict your souls (lives). Which DAY is that again? The 10th DAY ofthe 7th Moon. is a "DAY/ Light" of affliction (fasting). Well folks, how long does it take food to pass through the human tract? It takes approximately 12 hours. So that means that if one is to fast on the 10th day of the 7th Moon, then the stomach has to be empty for that DAY. For the stomach to be empty, the Almighty asks us to fast the night of the 9th to ensure that we are truly fasting on the 10th DAY. (Incidentally, if one believes that a day begins at night (after sunset) and that the fast is all of the 10th day, beginning at night (after sunset); (if one begins a day from evening to evening, then one should have begun ones fast before sunrise, so that the stomach is empty for all of the 10thnight, and the 10th daylight portion) Really, one would be fasting the night before, because it is night time, a time for sleeping. If one believes that a day is 24 hours, then one will have to fast for 36 hours for the stomach to be empty for the 10thnight and day).
Really folks, YAH asks us to fast the 10th day only. But if we are truly fasting on the 10th day, we are to begin our fast on the night of the 9th. This scripture really nails it as to when a day begins, because people love to have their stomachs full. It is not a great feeling to have ones bowels empty and growling any longer than is totally necessary. Do folks really believe that we would fast for two days, just to abide by the commandment, to fast on the 10th day/light? How can this be accomplished if we stay up the previous night of the 9th and eat to fill our stomachs for the 10th day? The Almighty is the great commander and knows exactly how long it takes for food to pass through the stomach, therefore he commands us to start our fast from the evening, (not including the 9th day) the 9th Night, until the evening of the 10thday. Atonement shows us when a day ends, and it is when the light from the sun has gone. When the sun sets and the stars appear, they witnesses that night has arrived. When two stars are visible in the sky, (Two Witnesses) night has arrived and the day is over.
Some have argued (I did) that a day begins at evening because in Nehemiah 13:15-22. Verse 19.. "And it came to pass, that when the gates of Jerusalem began to be dark before the Sabbath, I commanded the gates should be shut, and charged that they should not be opened till after the Sabbath: and some of my servants set I at the gates, that there should be no burden be brought in on the Sabbath day". If Nehemiah wanted to prevent buying and selling on the Sabbath day, when would be the proper time to shut the gates of Jerusalem? It would probably have been wise of him or his servants to shut the gates in the evening (light of day) to ensure there weren't any merchants entering the city to peddle their goods? These men had no regard for the Sabbath day, and the best time for them to enter the city would be under the cover of darkness. "Men love darkness more than light, because their deeds are evil". John 3:19. This was not the first encounter that Nehemiah had with these folks, as is evident in verse 15.
Some folks are concerned with been unclean until evening, after touching a dead body during the day. There isn't a problem here, because all the unclean person had to do,was wash himself, and return to the camp for the night and rest as normal. Remember he had to work the next day. It had nothing to do with beginning a day at night. The day was meant for work, and the night was meant for rest."Work and rest", in this order; on through the six days; until the seventh day Sabbath arrives, when man is to rest from his labors.
Here are some scriptures to consider: Exodus 18:5..And Jethro, Moses' father in law, came with his sons and his wife unto Moses into the wilderness, where he encamped atthe mountain of Elohim..verse 13: And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses sat to judge the people: and the people stood before Moses from the morning unto the evening.. Verse 14: And when Moses' father in law saw all that he did to the people, he said, what is this thing that thou doest to the people? Why sittest thou thyself alone, and all the people stand by thee from morning until even?
There is no doubt that morning and evening is the same day. We cannot have it both ways; the evening belongs to the day for those who keep a day from morning until evening, or it belongs to the night for those who keep a day evening to evening. Therefore, if one includes the evening as when a day begins, the Passover would have to be slaughtered onthe 15th Evening/Night/Day which is against the instructions of Torah. Remember Yahusha died on the 14th Day, afternoon around 3:00 PM on a Roman time clock, and was buried that day. The Passover Lamb; a type of the TruePassover Lamb Yahusha, was always slaughtered on the 14th afternoon, roasted and eaten that night of the 14th. It has never changed and is still the same today. This is the night, (the night of the 14th) that is to be kept throughout our generations. Unleavened Bread is to be eaten this night and on through the 21st day, but not eaten on the 21st night. Again, this tells us when a day ends as it is in keeping with the Day of Atonement. For the count, this is exactly seven days and seven nights.
The problem we encounter when trying to keep the Almighty's Calendar and man's calendar, is that it is impossible to make them fit together. Mans calendar (made for mammon, self worship and especially fertility) is totally contrary to the Father's time keeping schedule. Man's calendar is a Beastly time schedule, and has no regard for the Almighty's Calendar in the heavens. We cannot serve both; we will either love one, or hate the other. How can we mix righteousness with lawlessness? Man begins his New Year in the dead of winter, while YAHUWEH the Eternal, specificallystates, that we begin our year when life begins to regenerate in the spring time at Aviv, the first Moon, when the barley crop is ripening. Incidentally, folks still wish me a "Happy New Year" in the dead of winter when they know better. This thought should not even enter their minds, because they know for sure according the scriptures; that a New Year begins in the springtime. The Calendar is another issue, and will have to be excluded from this article, since this one will take quite some time to write.
Here are some other scriptures supporting what has been written. Genesis 19:30 tells us, that after the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, the two daughters of Lot believe that they are the only ones remaining to continue their father's seed. They plot a scheme to make their father drunk and then they are going to have sex with him to carry on their fathers seed. They make their plan in the day time, and carry it out at night. They entice their father to drink wine that night.verse 33, 34... And it came to pass on the morrow (The next day), that the firstborn said unto the younger, Behold, I lay yester night with my father: (Obviously they are talking in the day/light, because they said yester night)let us make him drink wine again this night (Indicating that the night to follow, belongs to the day they are communicating with each other) also; and go thou in and lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father. Verse 35:And they made their father drink wine that night also: ..
Judges 19:4.. And his father in law, the damsel's father, retained him; and he abode with him for three days: so they did eat and drink and lodged there. What does lodged there mean? Hebrew word; (H3885, loon, leen) (It means to stop, usually overnight, or abide all night) In other words their original plan was to stay for 3 days and 3 nights, but they ended up staying an extra day and night. This is another place we can look to further see that the night follows the day and is of the same date...And it came to pass on the fourth day, when they arose early in the morning..verse6..I pray thee, and tarry all night..verse 8 And he arose early in the morning on the fifth day to depart.and they tarried until afternoon, and they did eat, both of them. verse 9.I pray you to tarry all night: behold the day draws toward evening, I pray you tarry all night: behold the day growth to an end, lodge here, that your heart may be merry; and tomorrow (the next day) get you early on your way, that thou may go home. Verse 10..But the man would not tarry that night (the night of the 5th day), but he rose up and departed..He rose up and departed in the afternoon. The Levite would not spend another night there, so he got up, left and arrived opposite Yebush, or Yerusalem (which should read YAHrushalem, YAH's place of peace).verse11: it was very late in the evening when they came near Yebush. (THIS PROVES THAT EVENING IS, AND CAN BE LONG BEFORE SUNSET) So the servant said to hismaster, "Let us not go any further, but go into the city of the Yebusites and spend the night there".verse 11.and when they were by Jebus, the day was far spent.. (Notice the sun had not set yet).. Verse 12. His master answered him, "Let us not go into a foreign city where there are no Yisraelites; we will go to Gibeah" And he said to his servant.. Verse 13."Come let us go near one of those towns". "We will spend the night in Gibeah or Ramah".Verse 14. So they went their way, and at SUNSET they arrived opposite Gibeah or Benyamin. Verse 15. They turned aside and went there to spend the night. So now then, is afternoon and beforesunset, not evening?
Some of the folks of this town were perverted and had some of the character that was displayed at Sodom and Gomorrah. They wanted to entertain themselves with the man that was invited into another man's house for the night.Verses 24 and 25..The man who had invited the Levite, his wife, and his servant to stay the night, gave his daughter; his son in law's concubine, to the mob to protect the man. The mob proceeded to rape her and maltreated her the whole night until morning. At dawn they left her. Verse 26.At early morning, the woman came and fella t the entrance of the man's house where her husband was. She lay there until it was day. Verse 28..The woman died and the man put her on his ass and went home. He then proceeds to cut her into12 pieces and distribute the pieces throughout the territory of Yisrael. Verse30. And it was so, that all that saw it said, there was no such deed done, nor seen from the day that the children of Yisrael came up out of the land of Egypt unto this day.
There is also another story in Judges, chapter 6, about Gideon the son of Joash. We will pick it up in verse 11.and continue down to verse 25. To shed some light on the subject: The Almighty is about to deliver Yisrael out of another of their troubles, and will use Gideon to perform his work. The Messenger of the Almighty appears to him as he is threshing wheat by the winepress. TheMessenger talks with him during the day and asks him to make an offering. He does as commanded, slaughters a goat and also makes an offering of unleavened cakes as well. The Messenger touches it with his staff; fire comes out of the rock and consumes it. Verse 25.And it came to pass the same night that YAHUWEH said unto him.. Yes, that's what it says (the same night) these are not my words, but the words of the Eternal. Gideon offers a slaughtering at night because he was afraid to offer it in the daylight. He feared his father's household and the men of the city, that he could not do it by day that he did it by night, as it states in verse 27. Verse28..And when the men of the city arose early in the morning (the next day), behold the altar of Baal was cast down, and the grove that was by it, and the second bullock was offered upon the altar that was built. Verse 31..it is yet morning; verse 32..Therefore on that day..verse38.And it was so: for he rose up early on the morrow (the next day)..verse 40.And the Almighty did so that night.
In chapter 7.the men of Gideon are given another test to drink water. The way in which they drink the water will determine who will accompany Gideon into battle. They do so, as can be seen in the light of the day. Verse 9..And it came to pass the same night, that YAHUWEH said unto him, Arise, and get thee down unto the host; for I have delivered it into your hand.
Now here is the kicker: YAH is about to make an Oath with Abram and his seed to inherit the Land of promise. Genesis 15:1.He takes him outside and shows him the stars and tells him that his seed will be like them in number. Lets pick it up in verse 9.He asks him to slaughter some animals and birds. Abram does so in daylight of course, and in verse 11 he has to drive away the birds of prey, because they want to eat the carcasses. Now in verse 12..the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and lo, a horror of great darkness fell upon him. The Mighty One then talks with him and tells him what will happen to his seed all the way through verse 16. Verse 17..And it came to pass, that when the sun went down, and it was DARK, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed through the pieces. Here it is in verse 18.In the same day YAHUWEH made an Oath with Abram...Yes folks, the daylight portion of the day, YAH asked him to slaughter some clean animals and birds, and in the same day (In the night portion) YAH confirmed the covenant (Oath is abetter term) with Abram. He accepted Abram's slaughtering and burnt them up in the same day. {This proves that the night portion belongs to the day previous and not the other way around}.(These are the only slaughtering and offerings that the author could find that were carried out at night. If there is another that can be found in scripture, then the author would like to know where it is.)
Yes folks, again it is evident as to when a day begins and ends, and as it is with Passover. There isn't any doubt that the Passover Lamb was to be slaughtered in the Evening of the 14th day (Afternoon, around 3PM, Roman Time.between the two evenings as the scriptures state) and eaten on the nightof the 14th. None of it was to remain until morning, the next day. It had to beburned with fire and not see the light of a new day.
Jewish tradition has confused this whole issue with Passover, because they have begun their day at nightfall and have confused the religious world, the Christianworld, and especially the offshoots of the Churches of G-d. Passover night was not a time that was set-apart preventing work from being performed. To the contrary, it was a time when the lamb had to be roasted (Now that takes about 4 to 6 hours depending on the size of the lamb) and eaten with unleavened bread and bitter herbs. Sounds like a time of cooking and baking to me. It could hardly be Sabbath night as the Jews teach. If the Jews build a temple and start sacrificing lambs for Passover night they will have to change the rule for the Sabbath as they call it. On their calendar, Passover will fall on one of their weekly Sabbaths of the Gregorian calendar. (They keep the Gregorian calendar) They will have to roast it at night (The 15th they call it) as they say is commanded in the scriptures. Will they then change the rule for cooking on the Sabbath? Why do people follow such tradition? Is it because they allow other's to do the thinking for them? You be the judge!
YAHUWEH does and did most of his destruction at night. Witness the Passover in Egypt by night. By night, he destroyed the firstborn of the Egyptians and the Pharaoh. Exodus 12:29-31. He destroyed the army of the Assyrians by night. IIKings 19:35. Gideon and his men started the downfall of the Midianites and the Amalekites and the children of the east, by night. Judges 7:19-25. Babylon's fall happened at night, as King Belshazzar was having a feast and lifting himself against the Almighty. Daniel 5:22-30 There are probably more scriptures in the word that tell of YAHUWEH's destruction of his enemies at night, but time and space limits how much can be written here.
Notice the pattern folks, all throughout scripture! Day andNight! Some other verses to consider : Genesis 7: 4 .For yet, seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights.verse 12.And the rain was upon the earth forty daysand forty nights.Numbers 9: 1-3.the children of Yisrael kept the Passover in the 14th day, between the evenings (they slaughtered the Passover lamb that day, roasted and ate it that night) in the wilderness of Sinai...verse 16.day and night.Numbers 11: 32.day and night.Numbers 14: 14.daytime and night.Genesis 1: 5.And Elohim called the light DAY, and the darkness he called Night.verse 14..to divide the day from the night.the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night.to rule over the day and over the night.8: 22.day and night.31: 39 and 40.day and night.Exodus 10: 13.And Moses stretched forth his rod over the land of Egypt, and YAHUWEH brought an east wind upon the land all that day and all that night; and it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts. Psalm 55:10..Day and Night, they go about it upon the walls thereof: . Jeremyah 9:1..that I might weep Dayand Night for the slain of the daughter of my people! Now some will say; there are places in the scriptures where it also quotes night and day. That is indeed true, but not in the sequence of time as to when an actual day begins.
Exodus 13: 21 and 22.day and night..40: 38..Lev 8: 35.day and night..Numbers 9: 16..day and night.21..day and night..11: 32.Deut 16: 4..day and night..28: 66.day and night..Joshua 1:8.. you shall meditate therein, day and night..Judges 6: 27..day and night..19:9..now the day draws toward evening, I pray you tarry all night..1Samuel 19: 24.all that day and all that night..28: 20..all that day, nor all that night..2nd Samuel21: 10.day and night..1Kings 8: 59.day and night..1Chron 9: 33..day andnight..2 Chron 6: 20..day and night..Nehemyah 1: 6..day and night..4: 9..dayand night..9: 12 day and night..19..day and night...Job..3: 3..day and night..Job 26: 10..day and night...Psalm 1: 2..day and night..19: 2..day and night..32: 4..day and night..42: 3.day and night..55: 10..day and night...74:16 day and night..77: 2..day and night..88: 1..day and night..Ecclesiastes 8:16..day and night..Isiyah 4: 5..day and night..28: 19..by day and by night..38:12..day and night..60: 11..day nor night...Yeremyah 9: 1..day and night..16:13..day and night..31: 35..day and night..33: 20..day and night..36: 30..in the day to the heat, and in the night to the frost..Lamentations 2: 18..day and night..Hosea 4: 5..day and night..Amos 5: 8..And makes the day dark with night. The scriptures state that we are the children of light! Isn't that interesting? Throughout the scriptures YAHUWEH is concerned about the light for his children. He uses some of his Lights (Days) as set-apart times to worship him. Do we worship him at night when we are asleep? The answer is obvious. If and when YAH desires that we keep a night, he will specifically tell us. It is then, and only then do we observe these nights as commanded.
Examples are: The14th night of Passover and all through the week of Unleavened Bread through the 20th night and the 21st day in the First Moon of Aviv (no leaven to be eaten during the night of course; these days and nights are inclusive); the 9thnight, before 10th Day of Atonement in the 7th Moon; Feast of Booths, we are to dwell in Sukkots (temporary dwellings, such as tents; this would include the night also) for 7 days. Who are we, to question him as to why he chose those certain days? There is only one thing that he requires of us, and that is: "Obey me and keep mycommandments" .for this is the whole duty of man. Ecc 12:13
Some folks will ask: when does the Sabbath end? Let's see if there are any scriptures that tell us in the Renewed Oath (New Testament) Mark 1:21. And they went into Capernaum; and straightway on the Sabbath Day he entered into the synagogue, and taught. He delivers a man with an unclean spirit. Verses 23-27, verse 32."And at even when the sun did set, they brought unto him all that were diseased and them that were possessed with devils". Let's go to Luke 4:31."And came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on the Sabbath Days".32. "Andthey were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power". Again this is another time which he performs a healing on the Sabbath Day.. Verse 40 ..."Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers' diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them". Now, are these scriptures in line with what we have found in the Torah (So called Old Testement)? Folks, there isn't any doubt that the Sabbath is indeed light, which is day, which is evening and morning or morning and evening (It all depends on which end you look at the day from, from the morning to the evening or from the evening to the morning, it is still day). The seventh light from the creation week is the Seventh Day Sabbath. It has always been, and always will be as long as life remains on this earth.
You mean the Jews are wrong, the Rabbis are wrong when it comes to beginning a day? No way, can't be! No? Well let's see what Yahusha had to say about the Scribes and Pharisees. What did he say to them? Mark 7:1-9..verse 1: "Then came together unto him certain of the Pharisees, and certain of the Scribes, which came from YAHrushalem..verse 2: For the Pharisees and all of the Jews, except they wash their hands often, eat not, holding the traditions of the elders...verse 7: Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men...verse 8: For laying aside the commandments of Elohim, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do...verse 9: Full well you reject the commandments of Elohim, that you may keep your own tradition".
Wow, what stunning accusations to those who sat in the seat of Moses! You see folks they didn't even believe the walking Torah, the Torah in the flesh, the living Torah in action. If they didn't believe him, then how do you think that they could have believed and followed the written Torah? They didn't, and they still do not to this very day. Why do you think that Yahusha met them head on, and lambasted them from time to time? Maybe the reason is that the record be preserved for us, that we may see just how crooked these men were then, and now. Get this! Their very Creator could not convert them! Do they accept the Mashiach (Messiah) today? He is hated by the Rabbis, as he was hated by the Scribes and Pharisees in the day he walked this planet. There may be some that have turned from their wicked ways and have accepted him, but very few indeed! (Get this folks: "All religion is power, control and money". If you do not believe this, then go to a local church and you will quickly find out, that they will have their hand in your pocket in very little time) He goes on to say, Matt 23:13 "But woe unto you, Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither enter in, nor allow them that are entering to go in". Matt 23:33 .. "Serpents, generation of vipers, how can you escape the damnation of Gehenna"? This point cannot be stressed enough, and that is "The Rabbi's of today are an extension of the Scribes and Pharisees in Yahusha's day". Pray tell, why would anyone go to a Rabbi today to learn scriptural things? Do you know there are still people today who believe that the Pharisee's were right when it came to keeping the law? They couldn't be further from the truth! There is a prophecy concerning them, and it is they have muddied the waters for others. Isaiah 3:12-15.
Witness the account of Stephen in the 7TH chapter of the book of Acts..verse 48: Howbeit the Most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet..verse 49: Heaven is my throne and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build for me.verse 50: Hath not my hand made all these things? 51: Ye stiff necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Ruach Ha Quodesh: (Set-apart Spirit) as your fathers did, so do you. Verse 52: Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? And they have slain them which showed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye now have been now the betrayers and murderers. Verse 53: Who have received the law by the disposition of Messengers and have not kept it. What? Have not kept it? What do you mean? The High Priest, Scribes, Pharisees and Sha'ul (Paul) kept the law perfectly! O really? And where does it say that now? They may have kept the law of the traditions of the elders perfectly, but they in no way kept the Torah. If they did, then why would Stephen rebuke them so severely? Recall one of Sha'ul's writings where it states: ("O wretched man that I am; who will deliver me from this body of death"? Romans 7:24) Verse 58: And they cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Sha'ul (Paul). Chapter 9:1,2.And Shaul breathing out threatening and slaughter against the followers of Yahusha, went unto the High Preist, and desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this WAY, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Yahrushalem. Please, please note folks, this was before Shaul's (Paul's) conversion. Now, was not Shaul of the Pharisees before his conversion? Yes indeed, and he slaughtered folks who did not follow the Pharisees. Remember the Pharisees were in control of the Synagogues.
Seriously folks, do you honestly think that Yahusha would send you to a paid minister of one of these organizations of Babel (Babylon) for instruction in righteous living? Not a chance! These men are not much better than the Pharisees, because they get paid to fleece the flock, and not only do they fleece them; the flock pays them to do so. They register their churches with the government of the land. These men are paid by organizations that are government sanctioned, and have nothing to do with truth. Tithing in the scriptures was for Israel as long as they remained in the land. When Israel was scattered to the four winds, tithing ceased and no longer applied. So then, if a minister of any organization tells you that tithing is still enforced, heis a liar according to Torah. This is why it is so hard to crack these organizations; they have their own agenda, a steady income, and the last thing that they want you to learn is truth. They would be without a cushy job! These ministers will toss this article into the waste bin, because it will directly affect their pocket books and their easy jobs of fleecing the flock. Boy, do these men have something to answer for! They are supposed to be teachers of thelaw, but instead they teach lawlessness. Take a look around you! Do you see any poor Rabbis, Priests, Ministers or Pastors? No way folks! Babylon enlarges and takes care of herself very comfortably! When a religious group registers itself with the government of the land, it automatically becomes part of the structure of Babel (Babylon). This is just common sense.
Folks, salvation was provided from the foundation of the world. The Lamb was slain from the foundation of the world, but YAHUWEH-sha said "If you will enter into life, keep the commandments". MattitYAHU 7:22, 23 Many will say unto me in that day, "Teacher, Teacher, have we not prophesied in your name? And in your name have cast out devils? And in your name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: "depart from me, you that work iniquity".
Well then, let'shear the conclusion of the matter; do we obey the Beastly System of man, or dowe obey YAH? His System of keeping time is forever, as long as the earth remains. Ever wonder why the two feet of the woman (YisraEL) are planted on the moon in the scroll of Revelation? Do you think that it may have something to do with true time keeping, regarding YAH's Two Great Lights in the heavens, and when his true appointments arrive? The moon gets its light from the greater light, the sun. Some argue that the moon is not a light giver. Well then, what is that other light that we see up there that is mentioned along with the sun?It is definitely not another sun! Some folks have divorced the moon as a part of YAH's great time clock because it directly affects their jobs and pocketbook in Babylon. The moon is a light reflector; it has a reflective component in its soil that was discovered by NASA during its lunar missions. Soil samples were tested, and the result was the moon has a reflective material of about 12%. People can argue that it is not a light giver if they want, but YAH says it is. Now who are we going to believe?
Yes folks, to get back to the order once delivered to the called out ones, we have to go back to the basics and allow our Creator to tell us what time it is on his time clock, and not the artificial time keeping clock of man's Beastly System. Ever wonder why it is called "The Beast System? Well, man is supposed to be more intelligent than the beasts of the earth. But without the knowledge of YAH in the equation, man has reduced himself to the level of the beasts of the earth. In fact it seems like the beasts know more about YAH's times then we do. YesseYahu (Isaiah) 1:2-4.. Hear O Heavens, and give ear O earth: I have nourished and brought up children, andthey have rebelled against me. The ox knows his owner and the ass his master's crib: but Israel does not know, my people do not consider. Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, aseed of evil doers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken YAHUWEH, they have provoked the Set-apart One of Israel unto anger, they are gone (alienated, separated) away backward.
Many folks think that the reason the moon is in the sky is simply for decoration. Well, what function does that serve? The scriptures state: My people are destroyed forlack of knowledge.. Hosea 4:6. Gen 1:14 states that the Two Great Lights were placed in the heavens to mark off time. The calendar that is on the wall of most homes, is the Gregorian calendar, and doesn't regard YAH's True Calendar in the heavens whatsoever! The Gregorian calendar has an International Date Line and its days are set by it. Where in thescriptures do we ever see YAH using the International Date Line of man to mark off time? The answer is we do not! Did you know that you can stand on this International Date Line; straddle it, placeone foot into Sat-rday and the other into S-nday and be absolutely right according to man's reasoning? That's right folks; this is human reasoning! This line is a Beastly line, drawn down through the earth to mark off time strictly for Commerce (Mammon). IT IS OF BABEL (BABYLON)! It has nothing to do with the truth of scriptures. Go on, and see where it can be found in the scriptures! It cannot be found in the scriptures folks; therefore following such a Beastly custom is in violation of Torah and is one of the marks of the Beast. YAH says that he uses the Two Great Lights to set his appointments. Genesis 1:14-16.Do you think that we ought to believe him?
I once heard a person say that while travelling to the Far East, the Sabbath (Sat-rday) was missed entirely because they departed from the USA on Fr-day afternoon and flew across the International Date Line. However coming back they got to keep two Sabbaths because they departed on Fr-day night, flew all day, but because it was a different day on man's time clock (after they crossed the International Date Line) they still got to keep a Sabbath (Sat-rday) after they arrived. They got to keep one Sabbath in the Airplane and the other on the ground. Isn't this absurd? Sometimes you have to wonder where people are coming from. Do they think that YAH is the author of confusion? Is this confusion or what? Amazing!! First of all, if they had respect for the day they call the Sabbath, they would not have started their needless journey on that day, but would have rested and waited for it to pass. Continuing with the verse in Hosea..because you have rejected knowledge I will also reject you, that you shall be no priest to me: seeing you have forgotten the law of the Elohim, I will also forget your children.
YAH's cry to his people is in Revelation 18:4."Come out of her my people, that ye be not partakers of her transgressions, and that ye receive not of her plagues". Verse 5."For her transgressions, have reached up to heaven, and Elohim hath remembered her iniquities."Friend the decision is yours, you will have to make a decision on the knowledge you have been given in the Torah. You will have to either follow YAH and do his Torah, or follow the Beast (The System of man). Please note; one road is very broad while the other is quite narrow. Remember the ten virgins in MattitYahu 25: 1-13; all thought that they were on the right path to eternal life. It turns out that five of them were wise, and the other five were foolish. Ever wonder why there were five who were wise? Do you think that it is maybe because they took the five books of his Torah and followed its teachings? Do you think that maybe YAH looked on them with favor and gave them eternal life, because he was able to rule them; they been subject to his Torah? They had repented of their ways of walking in the broad road, and had turned back to the ancient path of Torah. Remember what happened to the five foolish virgins? YAH say's that he didn' teven know them! It's not enough to just know the Torah; we have to do as it instructs us to keep oil in our lamps. What good is a lamp that has gone out? Psalm 119:105..Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Yeremyahu 6:16.Thus saith YAHUWEH, stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the right way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls.
Folks, if you are in a ch-ur-ch (notice that the UR in the word church is between the two letters of CH at either end, [confined and hindered] from learning truth) and look to a priest, pastor, minister, or a rabbi for truth (Instruction in YAH's Torah) then you are in the wrong place. The word "church" is derived from the Greek word Circe (From where we get the word circus; how fitting is such a word!). Circe was a Queen goddess (sometimes a nymph, witch, enchantress, or Sorceress). She transformed her enemies, or those who offended her into animals, through the use of magical potions. She was renowned for her knowledge of drugs and herbs. She offered the cup to Odysseus. She mixes YAH's truth with the doctrines of Baal as did Jezebel (Isabel), the wife of King Ahab. Take a look at the story of Jezebel and how she persecuted the true prophets of YAH; I Kings 16:29 on through the 22nd chapter, and also of her violent death, as was prophesied. Her terrible death is recorded in II Kings chapter 9:30-37. Does this look anything like the Woman (Whore Church) in the book of Revelation who has a golden cup in her hand? YAH says "Come out of her my people, and be not partakers of her sins". Now if he says "Come out" then wouldn't it be for a right and perfect reason? Yes, of course! Why? Because he desires that you learn truth, (TORAH) knowledge, and wisdom. How can you learn it in Babylon? Babylon can only teach you what they perceive as truth, and it is nothing but CONFUSION! Babel (Babylon) means "Confusion"
After all that has been written here; this article can be summed up in eight simple words: NO SUN, NO LIGHT, NO DAY, ALL NIGHT...As it was in the beginning..Isn't that interesting? The number 8 means a new beginning.
Yes folks, the road to eternal life is within the confines of his law. If we are to enter into life, we must keep the commandments! We are not to add, nor are we to take from the TORAH of Elohim. It is the straight and narrow road that leads to life eternal! Broad is the road that leads to the grave and destruction. Most, if not all of the world follows the Beastly System of man, but for a remnant who have counted all of this but dung. Are you, or will you, be of the remnant? May YAH open your eyes to the way of his Torah!
Let there be LIGHT!! HalleluYAH!!
